รอบรางวัลสูงสุด

จะถูกตัดสินให้กับสุนัขที่ดีที่สุดในงาน จำนวนรางวัลขึ้นอยู่กับจำนวนสุนัข ซึ่งจะมีเพียงแค่ 3% ของสุนัขทั้งหมด (อ่านข้อมูลฮอนบุโชวว์เพิ่มเติมได้ที่นี่) ซึ่งสุนัขที่ก้าวร้าวจะไม่มีคานอิและจะถูกกรรมการนิปโป้หักคะแนน และสุนัขที่ได้รางวัลสูงสุดจากรุ่นโซว์เคนและเซย์เคนของแต่ละเพศจะถูกตัดสิน สุนัขแต่ละเพศที่ดีที่สุดรวมไปถึงรางวัลฮอนบุโชวว์ และสุนัขที่ดีที่สุดและสุนัขเพศเมียที่ดีที่สุดจะถูกตัดสินในรอบ Best in Show และ Best Opposite Sex

 The Class Merit Awards are given to
top one third of the entries in each class. The top two or
three dogs, depending on the number of entries, from
Souken and Seiken Classes of each sex are judged for the
Best of Sex and the Nippo Merit Awards. The best dog and
best bitch are judged to decide the Best in Show and the
Best Opposite Sex.
